A tribute to Noel Hope
Happy 2nd Birthday Noel Hope!!! 11/1/06

This page is not only to celebrate Noel Hope's first years of life but to celebrate hope, love and compassion.

Nearly one year ago minus 7 weeks a miracle happened. She is called is Noel Hope. She was born on 11/1/04 About 5 weeks after the blessed event we got a call from someone who had discovered a couple of blind deaf double dapples in need of rescue. You see they are what we call special needs. To the breeder they came from they were called "dead weight". Well, we all immediately went in to action and a team of rescuers was formed. One puppy went to live in the mid west and with the help of our friend's Hope & Lynn in Texas we were able to get Noel to Calif. When Noel arrived just before Christmas she was very ill. She had lived on a breeder ranch and Hog farm and had hook worms, Coccidia, Ghardia and an upper respiratory infection. Some or all of her litter mates we found out later did not make it. After much care and weeks of meds, isolation and many prayers Noel pulled through. We gave Noel "Hope" as her middle name because of her special rescuer and because she reminds us of the hope for humanity and compassion for God's little creatures and each other. We wanted to share Noel's story with you and show you a year in a life for one very special little soul. Currently Noel lives with us in our new home in Central Virginia on Harmony Acres and the home of Harmony Hounds Rescue Ranch. She is today a very happy well adjusted pup and has lots of friends.
Please note: A special needs dog is not for everyone. We have put much time into Noel's training, socialization and most of all her safety and health. For more information on the double dapple crisis please go to DORG and become educated and please share her story and what you have learned with others. Together we can make a difference. AMEN

Happy Birthday Noel!!! We love you baby!!!
