Harmony mini Horse Rescue Please meet the newest addition to our crew! Her name is Ginger and she is a 10yr old American Miniature Horse. Ginger stands just 32 inches tall at the withers and is full grown. She came from a neglectful home where her owners no longer wanted her. Ginger is fearful of adults but is bonding well with Katelyn our 12yr old daughter. She came to us with a skin fungus, untreated allergies, no shots, no coggins cleared, hooves over grown and a large hook tooth which was VERY painful for her. She has now been fully vetted and is feeling better. Ginger will be given sanctuary here at Harmony and enjoy her days being loved on and getting clean water, fresh hay, grain and yummy carrots and apples. Ginger is now our Doxie by proxy!
Harmony will be helping as many mini horses as we are able to. We will soon open up room for one more sanctuary horse who will stay on with us and work toward becoming a therapy horse.
When we receive enough funding we will build another mini barn and will be able to help more horses in need. Horse rescue can be very expensive so we rely on public donations to help support our mission to provide mini horses a safe place to transition from rescue to new loving homes.
